How about her asking Metis Settlement general counsel to wait and not look at Metallic and Industrial Minerals lease, so she can fight with federal government. She’s actually sabatoging a critical minerals opportunity by doing carbon capture storage underneath the Elizabeth Metis Settlement area
Her voters might fall for that. But the rest of us know better. Her anti transparent wrecking ball, vindictive behavior couldn’t be more obvious. Resign lady, before we throw you out!
I do not know if the premier is responsible or not because I don’t have a crystal ball. I do know her innocents would be more believable if she asked the RCMP start an investigation.

I believe the Premiers statement. She has always been above board on any allegation and stating the facts as the issue unfolded. Keep up your honest outlook.
There’s too many connections here between her and that clinic that got built on public funding, and contracts to get their services. That was hidden and not made public.
I saw an advertisement for a clinic that was being built on 111th Street and Ellerslie road, that said they were going to be doing surgeries and they had an ER
And when I went to look it up online I found it under projects but I didn’t take a picture of it then shortly there afterwards I went back to look again and I couldn’t find it anywhere.
So it wasn’t on their site anymore. And that’s the clinic that is involved in this whole fiasco.
Dr Darcy Durand is my knee surgeon.
And he also got public funding to do a bunch of research on different types of knee joints to use. Kind of a waste of money if you ask me especially when we’re in a shortage of funding for our Healthcare system.
If this was on the up and up she would have been talking about it and promoting it. Which she never did. So and the connections are so specific that she cannot deny her part in this.
Those tickets to that hockey game came from somebody that she appointed to the Invest Alberta board herself, who had connections to the man that sold us the children’s Tylenol and the masks, he also was the person that set up the numbered companies that hired lobbyists to go after our government for funding and they were two xmlas and one of them was recently appointed to the Alberta Treasury board Ministry. And before that he was part of the lobbying group that came to the government looking for funding. So now he’s actually got a seat on the board and he has the ability to approve funding right. And you can’t tell me that she’s not stupid she doesn’t know what’s going on in her own government. I don’t think so.
It’s corruption at its finest.
Had she not have accepted those tickets and even then if she would have done the proper protocol and reported them and not given tickets to her subordinates, there would have been nothing for them to investigate and they probably would never have found this.
I do not believe her. She waited too long to make a statement and when she finally did it was inefficient.
The provincial government needs to be accountable. In regard to the health care systems remote the are not listening to the people with boots on the ground level.
They should also stay out of municipal governments.
After 55 years as a conservative, I am having my doubts with this Government.
These accusations of misconduct by the UCP need to be investigated by an impartial Independent Inquiry process and also needs to be investigated by the RCMP.
I think Ms Smith is doing an excellent job & that because she has been standing up fir Albertans & Canadians that SOMEONE has gotten hold of something to tarnish her good name.
The only resolution is for a full independent inquiry, by a judge. Neither Smith nor anyone in her government should have any access. Otherwise like with the emails, Crown Prosecutor’s file, the United Corruption Party will clean it up like a dogs dish! Smith has no credibility in this!

These allegations have been percolating for months with the Sam Mraiche cronyism, the connections of MInisters who have ties to companies, Schultz, Loewe, the absolute corruption of Brian Jean ordering AER rescind ministerial orders on Coal mining, Nixon and Kenney and their trip to Australia, connections to Gina Reinhardt, the multiple trips to the US networking with the lowest of the low Republicans, the Prayer Breakfast, the Consulting with the Texas Police ( ranked 48 in 50 states) on public safety…..it was only a matter of time before journalists and general public put the pieces together. Take a look at Smith’s FB page on any given day – HALF of the posts are from Separatists. The virtuosic “Lying” and Deception that is so easily fact checked on record, the money for Smiths Campaign coming from down south…they are covered in dirty politics- and we the tax payers have been paying for their little trips, their vastly elevated contracts to companies no one wanted. You think Smith is the Best Premiere??? How will you explain this latest headline away? . The UCP can’t blame this on Trudeau and no one is going to believe she didn’t know because her hand is on everything surrounding these actions.

And the Alberta surgical Group worked with the lobbyists group that were two Ex conservative mlas, one of which was appointed to the Alberta Treasury board and finance Minister position, allowing him to approve funding for this clinic by Daniel Smith.
And they’re all involved with the MH Medical Care and the Carver corporation which is all owned by the man that sold us the tylenol.

Resign ..you appointed an incompetent Health Minister who has been a complete failure as a Minister of Education and now health. Your own staff has been involved with awarding above average medical to contracts to a company that already defrauded Albertans…
Daniel Smith maybe good, but Ralph Klein was the best even better then Peter Lougheed and I have seen them run the Alberta government and Ralph certainly was the best
I don’t believe Daniel Smith should resign, but I do agree, the appointed Health Minister Adriana LaGrange needs a good talking with by our Premier and straighten her out and if not replace her, her staff out of Red Deer is the incompetent staff I have every ran into and the replies you get are ridiculous.

That Tax Payers are funding her nearly $850,000 travel bills and others in the UCP while they go to Prayer Meetings in the U.S. and meet with one of the Worst Police Forces in the U.S to talk about public safety – is a dereliction of duty. We know what the UCP are doing in the U.S and I think Albertans are waking up to the fact that this govt is NOT Conservative, but actively engaging in cronyism, corruption and systematically dismantling Democracy. And we, the public, are paying for this, while our quality of life deteriorates every month and our equal rights are being chipped away at. David Parker has already been charged and fined for illegal election practises – and for getting US funds to support Smith’s campaign. We know where those southern funds are coming from and the groups behind this. They do not speak for all Albertans.

I agree..she is finally someone who is listening to Albertans, and fighting for us. If however it is proven that she knew about these contracts, she would have to resign.

Whose decision was it to deny all requests by Dr’s to refer patients who need to see a specialist a denial, in other words, they will never be able to get the treatment they need, they are being stonewalled.

Danielle is an incompetent leader leading a cohort of incompetent MLAs. None of their initiatives have worked or have promise, and in some cases were down right deceitful. CPP vs APP, RCMP, Coal deceit, Dr. negotiation, education “reform”, Provincial Park debacle, teacher pensions, AIMco debacle, …. Her denials about the AHS purchasing concerns can only be cleared up with full-blown judicial inquiry.

This is a serious issue with health services. Please tell me they will get to the bottom of the corruption and fix health care. My wife has been waiting long time with specialists. She is in dire need of an operation on hip and pain is over the top. Wait time 2years is ridiculous and no we can’t afford to pay for private operation ridiculous as well. It’s called quality of life. People in their later years should be able to enjoy their years left without worrying about extreme pain and unable to walk. Work all your life 40plus years and no help.

Of people carefully read the statement by Premier Smith, she stated that as Prmeier she did not interfere with any process of contract procurement. Though, the allegations state that Smith interfered not as premier rather within her capacity of her previously held position as Cheif of Staff, as Marshall Smith, these allegations are yet to be denied by the Premier.
Appointed everyone involved and now claims she knows nothing! 600 million dollar contracts given to her buddies and she knows nothing! Her mentor Trump has trained her well! Put her in prison!

She was an experienced professional radio presenter before entering politics and it certainly shows. She comes across as very wholesome and persuasive when she speaks.
